Games Britannia wins “Best use of ICT to support learning by a Secondary School” Award

The prize, presented by Professor Sugata Mitra of Newcastle University, is sponsored by Webanywhere Ltd and recognises an outstanding use of technology in the classroom to engage learners.

Mark Hardisty, co-ordinator of the videogame event said: “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of Brinsworth Comprehensive School and the Games Britannia team who have worked very hard to design and deliver this unique event.”
