Replay Events announce Showmasters partnership.

Replay Events Ltd, the UK’s award winning gaming event specialist, today announced that they are joining forces with Showmasters Ltd, event leaders of Film & Comic Cons and licensed Sci-Fi/TV events in the UK and Europe, to take their events to the next level.

Currently running two successful events in Manchester (Play Expo) and Blackpool (Play Blackpool), Replay Events will now have the opportunity to expand and deliver even more shows to the rapidly growing number of video gaming enthusiasts.  The successful Showmasters events will provide the perfect platform to bring gaming to a new audience, as both parties work together to stage new events across the UK over the forthcoming years.

Furthermore, we will now be able to bring our gaming experience to Showmasters’ events, so it’s a perfect combination.”

The deal has already seen Replay Events, organisers of the Classic Gaming Championships, bring the Gaming Zone to life at last month’s Cardiff Film & Comic Con. The event attracted 1000s of visitors to the gaming zone and proved very popular. Gaming is now going to be a significant feature at all Showmasters events, most notably at this year’s London Film & Comic con to be held 11-13 of July.

Replay Events’ flagship show Play Expo, which is confirmed as taking place at EventCity, Manchester on the 11^th and 12^th of October, will also see a further expansion as Showmasters add a new area called ‘screen.play’.

Hollywood movie star meet-and-greets, photo opportunities with the celebrities, film props and movie cars will draw in even bigger crowds to the already successful event. Showmasters also plan to bring film and TV related guests that cross over with the video gaming industry, making Play Expo 2014 a must-attend event.
