Dry-Hire

‘Dry Hire’ is the loan of the equipment only, without having a technician setup your display or be on hand for your event. Dry hire can still be combined with our design and planning services, however we have a minimum dry hire cost to cover administration fees.

Dry Hire is suitable for clients who are comfortable assembling equipment without assistance from Replay Events. We do not provide any instructions or support in setting up kit – basically you are on your own! Unless specifically requested, Dry Hire does not include the loan of TVs or screens.

This should not put clients off considering loaning equipment though – Dry Hire can be a very economical way of adding a twist to your event. Providing you are confident enough to assemble consoles you can save on the cost of having a technician to do all the work for you and still have all the impact of having a gaming theme at your event.

For example, we recently loaned a number of consoles to a company who were arranging a conference in the North east of England. The equipment was posted by courier to the venue where the client collected the package and was able to setup without worrying about transporting the kit to the venue themselves. Once finished, the client packaged the items up again at the venue and arranged for a courier to return our equipment to us.

Dry Hire is also suitable for TV or Film companies who only need equipment to be used as props. We can also provide any equipment needed for your magazine or photo shoot. In the past we have loaned games and consoles to Retro Gamer magazine for articles, and Channel 5’s ‘The Gadget Show’ for a feature on Sonic and Mario.

If you do prefer to setup your own event we can have equipment couriered to any UK address or you are welcome to collect from our head office in Blackpool. If you are local we may be able to deliver for a small fee. You are responsible for arranging the return of equipment to us once your event has finished and covering any associated costs of this return.

All of our equipment is fully PAT tested, RoHS compliant and is regularly cleaned and serviced, whilst our technicians all hold up-to-date CRB disclosures. Your safety and peace of mind is our priority.
